Paradise Suites is located on the bluff side of the mountain overlooking Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet in Homer, Alaska. The property is semi-secluded off the Sterling Highway in the Evergreen Forest with large grassy lawns, flower gardens, and three lakes below off the bluff for wildlife viewing and hiking trails. Across the street is nine miles of ski trails. Hiking trails along the property lead to outlook points of the bay and lakes. We offer accommodations for the angler, the hunter, the birdwatcher, or just a special getaway vacation weekend.

Lodging Options

Discover three distinct Alaskan accommodations: a charming house featuring stunning bayside views, a spacious Master bedroom with a King bed, a semi-secluded loft with 2 Queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, a cozy living room, and a full kitchen. Outside, a large deck overlooks Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet, equipped with social seating, BBQ facilities, and a 4-person hot tub.  The property is three acres which includes the second facility with the lower unit Bear Den, an 800 square foot living room, small kitchen, dining room, and bath. There is also an 800 square foot Eagle's Nest facility with a Master Queen bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining, and bath with a bird's-eye view of the entire property and Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet.

Our two-story, 1500 sq ft house features a semi-secluded loft with 2 Queen beds and incredible bayside views. Downstairs includes a Master bedroom with a comfortable King size bed, 2 full bathrooms, laundry room, living room, dining room, and a full kitchen, along with a spacious deck facing the water complete with social chairs, BBQ, and a 4-person hot tub.

Bear Den

This brand-new duplex offers a downstairs Master bedroom with a king-size bed, a lovely tiled bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and dining and living rooms with breathtaking views of two volcanoes, Homer's fishing waters, and stunning sunsets. Complemented by a Queen pull-out sofa, French doors opening to a spacious deck for BBQs, social seating, and nature watching, all set on 3 acres overlooking the Lower Cook Inlet.

Eagles Nest

This brand-new duplex's top floor offers penthouse views from two bedrooms—Master with a King bed, the second with a Queen bed—sharing a full bathroom, along with a stylish living room featuring beautiful new leather sofas and chairs, a dining room, and a fully stocked kitchen; amidst our grounds, families of Bald Eagles, squirrels, and various small animals frequent, while Moose and Bear are occasional visitors to our lawns.

Experienced Chef

We have an experienced Chef in house here at Paradise Suites, we call him “The Yeti.” I call him John Garvey. If you do not want to go downtown for an expensive breakfast or dinner, the Yeti will present you with a table guaranteed to please. John will come to your kitchen rental, prepare & serve your menu. ** Menu reservations & cost discussed in advance only.

Our 3 acres of lightly wooded Paradise is 7 minutes from the famous Homer Spit. There you will find exquisite shopping from local artistry, fine jewelry, native arts & crafts to name brand raincoats, socks & beanies. To tempt your palate are a verity of fresh catch restaurants, coffee houses, home churned ice crème, or just a crêpe to satisfy your sweet tooth. There are places to pitch your tent, watch a movie, fish the pond, or just walk & enjoy the whole scene on the Spit.
